Art Network Concept Pitch

What are the aspirations of a ringling student?
 • Success
• Great art
• Be an inspiration
• Better the world
• Teach
• Transform
• Improve
• Get paid to do what you want
• Work collaboratively to make something better than it could have been
• Get a world view

What is the best version of the ringling student possible?

Someone who not only makes great works of art but constantly thrives to become a better artist and thus a better person.

 How can motion communicate this?

Animations that build on top of each other and are constantly evolving portray this need to become better and better.

 Concept statements

 1. My first concept is an evolving forest. The letters start out as small seeds in the ground and rapidly grow and morph into a tree. It represents growing as an artist and finally flourishing.

2. My second idea is a way of showing old art growing into the new art. It will start out with pencil sketching on papyrus and slowly go through the art mediums and end up in modern day art with wireframes.

3. The third concept is to project the logo through some kind of filters so that the lighting changes dramatically from something you can hardly see to the Art network logo.

4. This idea is based on a multicultural taste. I want it to represent some of the cultures that influence art and each culture adds to the art network creating it by the end.

5. This last idea is more of just a fun animation to make and watch. Its based on a city scape that adjusts in the night to reveal the city makes up the art network logo referencing that the community is the heart and soul.
